I decided to make some cookies with my dad and I thought taking some progress pictures would be nice. Chocolate chip cookies are my dad's favorite so he is always up for making a big homemade batch.

For the abstract shots I got close to my subject yet again. The whole idea was for the viewers be not sure what they were exactly looking at and it would be up for interpretation. I chose to do my shots side by side because they contain complementary colors on the color wheel. This project was interesting to get close and see what others thought I had taken a picture of. Picture on the left: the putty in between cement squares on the sidewalk
Picture on right: rusty pipe For the Nature Botanicals we were forced to zoom in close. I got multiple shots with my zoom lens that showed all the bright colors and textures that nature has to offer. I am extremely impressed with how all of these shots turned out.
This project was so fun! I chose two subjects and took many pictures all around they face using three-point lighting. Then I used Adobe Photoshop and copied a bunch of different fragments of her face and pasted then onto the back ground portrait. I loved this project.
My subject is Jayden Scruggs. He's a starting player on varsity defense on the Cathedral football team. In March 2020, a friend and team mate of his passed away. This is his story of what he thinks about on game day and who he does it for.
