This was definitely one of my favorite projects because I enjoy taking pictures of humans rather than still life. I like many things about the outcome of this photo. I like how the curl in her hair frames her face. I think I did a great job at having her face fill the frame and the black and white filter really tied everything together.

I took this shot just as a rain drop was hitting a cup full of water. The colors red and green are complementary causing this to be visually appealing. The BOCA creates a perfect central point, the cup. The texture of the cup and the water in the cup are my favorite things about this picture. Something I would change about this shot would be to move the grill tools in the background because they're distracting and don't contribute anything to the photograph.
This is the image I used for my perspective project. I took this photo through the perspective of a lens ball. The ball flips whatever image is put through it. That just made the shot more interesting because now the viewer can't tell exactly what she looks like. Something I would have done different would be to somehow get her fingers out of the way. I'm not certain how I could do that because the ball needs something or someone to hold it, but it would be sick if I could figure that out.
This picture was one of the first pictures I took on this camera. This project was assigned so we could get familiar with the basis of digital photography. We learned about the importance of the aperture and how important it is, could make or break a shot.
